Hi! I’m Melanie.

Welcome! My name is Melanie Boccio, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York and a Telehealth Provider for Florida residents. I specialize in anxiety and depression, with a focus on adults who struggle with overthinking and high-functioning patterns. This can look like being reflective and self-aware while feeling caught in cycles of self-doubt, fear of failure, avoidance, and constant mental looping while appearing to manage things well externally.

My approach is rooted in values, acceptance, and behavior change, with the goal of helping clients relate differently to their pain and struggles rather than getting stuck in them, so they can move toward a more authentic, and values-driven life.

Telehealth Services

Therapy sessions are offered exclusively via secure Zoom video calls. While I'm licensed for in-person therapy in New York, I’m currently seeing all clients virtually.

A Little About Me

Today, I’m proud to be in private practice doing the work I love, and my journey here was shaped by both professional training and personal experience. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University and have supported clients through substance use, couples work, and group therapy.

I love this work because it gives me the opportunity to walk alongside clients during such significant and transformative moments in their lives, and I am deeply honored to be part of their process.
