About Me
My Story
My desire to want to become a mental health therapist actually started with my own therapy journey. I was able to experience how powerful being understood, seen, and accepted can be for someone just trying to get by.
My academic path began at St. Joseph’s College in New York, where I earned my B.A., and continued at Long Island University, where I received my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of settings, such as outpatient mental health and substance use programs, as well as a residential program for youth in foster care.
Now, I bring this experience to private practice, providing individualized care that recognizes and respects each client’s path. The ability to work with clients from all walks of life helped me truly understand that everyone is fighting their own unique battles, no matter how different we are. This has shown me the importance of bringing compassion, respect, and acceptance into my therapy practice.
