FAQ

  • What issues do you specialize in treating?

I primarily work with adults struggling with anxiety and depression, specializing in high-functioning clients. High-functioning meaning individuals who present as though they’re “keeping it together”, despite suffering from anxiety/depression behind the scenes. This often looks like rumination, self-doubt, self-imposed high standards, perfectionistic tendencies, procrastination, and challenges with self-worth, which is often tied to productivity and achievements.

  • What can I expect during the first session?

The first session is sort of a “getting to know you” session. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, explore your current challenges, and discuss how therapy might be helpful for you. As part of this process, we also complete a biopsychosocial assessment, which simply means gathering information about your biological, psychological, and social history to get a fuller understanding of you as a whole person.

  • Do you offer in-person or telehealth therapy?

Right now, I offer therapy only through telehealth. Sessions are held securely on Zoom, so you can connect from the comfort of your own space and there’s no commute required!

  • What are your rates, and do you accept insurance?

My private pay rate is $100 per session, and yes, I do accept insurance! For a full list of accepted providers, please check out the Fee Structure below.

    • No need for a formal mental health diagnosis

    • Your information remains completely confidential and is not shared with insurance providers

Out-of-Network

  • If I am not in-network with your insurance provider, I can provide a superbill (a detailed receipt of services) which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Many plans offer out-of-network benefits that reimburse a portion of the session cost.
